Marion Broquist Marion Broquist, born and reared in Rockford, Illinois, showed an early interest in art. After moving from Rockford to New York and then Champaign Illinois, she settled in Nashville Tennessee. Her early works were predominantly in oil, and often reflected her travel experiences. In recent work, she has experimented with abstract subject matter as she's added acrylics, mixed media, and watercolors to her repertoire.
