From her studio in Beersheba Springs Tennessee, Anne Carothers's work reflects her appreciation of Southern landscapes, the Cumberland mountains and the emotional connection with that past that permeates that region. Her current work explores ways to paint people and nature as God may see them: either broken in need of healing, or demonstrations of the power of regeneration.
