"I have tried it all" is a quoted testimonial which usually refers to darker, less healthy, less legal! experiences than painting. Artistic creation, for Faith, is a natural high, a stimulant, a relaxant, even a steroidal-esque mind and muscle builder. For 15 years of an even longer exposure to painting, she has focused on encaustic beeswax painting and teaching. While being an art form step-child in the US, the 3000 year old encaustic technique realizes popularity and practice in Europe. Wild color, luminous layers of translucency, chunky impasto formations, glistening reflective slicks, serendipidosity, combined with warm wafts of honey fragrance have addicted her to her studio and the burning-in of new work.
