Stephanie Helmey

Stephanie is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and has been creating art since the age of 8. Fascinated by the faces and forms of the people around her, and captivated by the beauty of the earth, she finds joy in interpreting the things she sees with color and line. Art is a way for her to communicate a particular moment of life or a particular visual experience to another. It is a way to connect with another person in a shared experience of understanding and emotion. Working primarily in oils, she also loves watercolor, pencil and pen and ink.
