Erin Johnson

A graduate of Rhodes College, Erin Stukey Johnson has studied with noted artists from America, Europe and the Orient, including the late Jacques Lipchitz. She is recognized for both her two and three dimensional works. Her "Ironing Board People" series, created using antique ironing boards and metal objects has been featured on Nashville Public Television's Tennessee Crossroads.

Erin has had articles published in the New York Times, The Nashville Scene, the Daily News Journal, the American Associate of Contemporary Artists, The Nashville Artist Guild, and the Nashville and Murfreesboro Magazines.

Her works may be found in corporate, home and permanent collections including those of The Children's Discovery Center Museum and The Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Museum of Art. Erin has served in numerous leadership positions within the Guild and is listed in Who's Who in American Art.
